Digital coding system
This monitor is equipped with a digital coding system which eliminates
interferences. The codes are written on the box and in the battery
compartment. For use of 2 Angelcare Movement and Sound Monitor in same
household or when interferences occur with an Angelcare in another
household, ensure the 2 monitors have 2 different digital coding system.
In range feature
This monitoring system is equipped with an In Range indicator. To
activate this function press the night light button and hold it until the
halo light flashes. If units are within range, the In Range light will flash.
If out of range the In Range light will be ON with no flashing. To
deactivate the In Range function, press and hold the night light button
again until halo flashes. The In Range light will turn OFF.
NOTE: The parents unit has a range up to 120 meters (394 feet).
AC power source
Model AC301: The AC adapters should be used whenever possible to
extend the battery life. Batteries can be kept in units while using AC
power source. Use regular AAA batteries for the AC301 model.
Model AC301-R: Use AC adapter on Nursery Unit whenever possible to
extend the batter
y life. For Parents Unit, use AC adapter ONLY to charge
NiMh batteries. Only charge batteries when low battery indicator is on. Do
not overcharge. Only use rechargeable batteries for the AC301-R model.
Warning: Damages caused by misuse of the monitor are the customer
responsibility.
Replacing the rechargeable batteries (Model AC301-R only)
When the NiMh batteries in the Parents Unit will not charge or
only hold their charge for a short period of time, batteries need to
be replaced. Unscrew the battery compartment door on the Parents
Unit (if necessary). Remove old batteries. Insert new rechargeable
batteries. Screw in the battery compartment door. Plug the Parents Unit
into an electrical outlet. Use only rechargeable batteries in the Parents
Unit. Allow new batteries to charge continuously for 15 hours.
